   4.   How do I calculate when the baby will be born?

Conception takes place around the time of ovulation, when an egg is released from your ovary.  The time of ovulation can vary from woman-to-woman and from month-to-month in the same woman.  The beginning of a pregnancy is calculated from the first day of your last period.  Normally, a pregnancy lasts 40 weeks in total.

You can use a pregnancy calculator to give an approximate due date:

OR

See a healthcare provider to confirm pregnancy and determine a due date.

   6.   How can CPC help?

Our centers offer free and confidential pregnancy tests and counsel.

Practical support is available to women and men who are clients of CPC. We know that the cost of many baby and maternity items are very high. That is why, along with all of our other services, limited practical help is free to our clients.

At CPC we are happy to help our clients with:

     •  Maternity Clothes

•  Baby Clothes

•  Strollers

•  Childbirth Classes

•  Emergency Diapers and Formula

If a crib or stroller is needed there is usually a waiting list; your request is prioritized by your expected due date. Cribs are loaned and you are asked to return them when you no longer need them.

All of our items are donated by people who care about you. As you return items when you are through with them the spirit of giving is passed on to other clients by you.

There are some limits placed on the amount of practical items given to each client. This enables us to provide for as many clients as possible.
